Other than this, pediatric appointments offer support and treatment to clients whose needs are uniquely "pediatric" in nature, such as motor development in infants and young children (think: learning to sit and roll, tummy time, developing running skills). It may also look like toe walking, or assisting children with cerebral palsy or other injuries that impact the way they move.

In some cases, children have a brachial plexus injury (often from birth, but sometimes as a result of a viral illness or surgery) that requires physiotherapy intervention.

Tia has experience in supporting pediatric patients with chronic pain. If this is the case, or if you were referred to Tia by the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital or the Stollery Children's Hospital, please let us know when you book this appointment.
